Over the course of a week the Cornwall Council Health Works for Cornwall Team attended a week long Expo. An interactive exhibition showcasing projects to benefit communities and future generations in Camborne, Pool, Illogan and Redruth. The first event of its kind in the area.
It highlighted the wide range of local investment projects bringing economic and social benefits to the location. There was 18 exhibitors covering topics such as housing, transport, jobs, education and skills, town centre regeneration, renewable energy, green infrastructure, heritage, creativity, technology and business support.
Students from Cornwall College worked with exhibitors to help them promote their displays which will included interactive and immersive exhibitions and a chance to try an electric bike. Eleanor and Lisa were pleased to say they completed the E Bike challenge around the car park. We are now looking into how these could be used as part of our project to help participants.
