Interested in learning about jobs within health and care?

Do you aspire to work within one of the largest sectors in Cornwall and would like to know more about what it’s like to work within the NHS and social care? Or, have you not considered jobs within health and care before and would like further information on the different job roles available?

Join us on our 3-day virtual programme live on Microsoft Teams 14th-16th February. The ‘Introduction into Working in Health and Care’ programme runs from 9.30am-3.00pm and gives an insight into the NHS as an organisation; hear from a variety of key speakers about their different job roles (both clinical and non-clinical); learn how to apply for NHS jobs, and receive top tips and specialist advice on what makes a great job application.

At the end of the 3 days you will receive a certificate of participation, which is a great addition for CVs and job applications, and hopefully you will be inspired to complete a job application with the NHS or in social care. We cover a wide range of job roles on the programme, and training opportunities too. If you’re interested in a particular job role please let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate a speaker in that particular job role too!

Participants who join us tend to feel a lot more confident in applying for NHS jobs afterwards, and several have gone on to secure interviews after the programme. A participant who joined us in December was successful in securing a role at the Royal Cornwall Hospital after having her eyes opened to the wide range of job roles that are available in the NHS:

Thank you for your help, advice and tips; I would never have thought of applying if it wasn’t for the three day Introduction sessions back in December.”

Another participant, who joined us in June last year, also secured a clinical role within the NHS:

Thank you to the Introduction to the NHS programme for the opportunity to be a part of this course which has been a massive step in my life. Through this course I have managed to get a job with the NHS so I would recommend everyone to sign up and join in. Thank you so much guys.

The 3-day programme runs throughout the year. If you would like to attend and have access to our specialist support click ‘Get Started’ or email us at [email protected]
